Local artists and makers open their studios and homes to showcase their work. Enjoy discovering the variety of talent and creativity in our area. While centred on Poets Corner, the trail spreads across the whole of Bear Flat.

Entrance to all venues is free and most works on display are for sale, if you feel inspired to buy.

Most venues accept cheques or credit cards.

WELCOME TO OUR ARTISTS COMMUNITY

Thank you for visiting our website. Here you can find out about the many artists working and exhibiting in Bear Flat, Bath.

Bear Flat Artists are a group of artists all living in or around the Bear Flat area of Bath. There are some 40+ artists, designers and makers within the group, from ceramicists and photographers to jewellers and portrait painters.

Every year since 2003, during the late May Bank Holiday, many of the artists open their doors for the annual Open Studios Art Trail, when members of the public can view and purchase many of the works on show. The artists also exhibit at the Bear Flat Christmas Fair on the first Saturday of December.
