EMILY SLINGER
Photography is an important aspect of Emily’s work, capturing textures and structures of the world around her which in turn enable her to expand possibilities incorporating print onto a variety of surfaces including paper, textile and clay.
What starts out as a photograph results in her interpretation of that original image and the relationship between colour, light, space and pattern found within urban and rural landscapes.
Her process is one of continuous exploration where everything builds upon each other.
